Solar Optimisation

We can maximise the benefits of storage co-located at solar farms using specifically tailored strategies to dispatch flexibility around PV output.

Dynamic Demand 2.0 deploys hardware on-site to enable fast-responding, local control strategies, which are necessary to maximising revenue generation from export-limited solar sites, while closely tracking PV output to understand the dynamic export availability for the storage asset.

Our PPA partner Erova Energy is able to offer competitive offtake arrangements to integrate storage optimisation with the appropriate solar trading contract.

Connection Management

Behind-the-Meter flexibility can be an important tool for managing a connection, allowing a site to operate far closer to its limits or islanding to avoid expensive non-commodity charges.

Through an intricate combination of centralised and local control logic, Dynamic Demand 2.0 is able to track variables and actively adjust output against unpredictable site conditions. For example, we have proven the capability of stationary storage to manage frequent demand spikes at EV charging stations, thereby lowering grid connection costs.
